M21 STEREO D/A

M21 STEREO D/A

THE POWER OF THREE

The M21 is the trifecta of digital to analogue conversion. Three independent and user-selectable digital-to-analogue signal paths are available: delta-sigma and R-2R ladder DAC for PCM conversion and true direct 1-bit DSD analogue converter. All current digital input types are supported, with direct output or hard-wire bypass of the analogue attenuator.

The M21 Digital to analogue converter is the continued evolution of both the M1S2 and the M12 Dual Mono Source Controller.

BIT PERFECT

D/A PERFORMANCE X3

The M21 features an advanced architecture that allows users to select, evaluate, and enjoy three independent digital-to-analog converter (DAC) signal paths: a 24-bit delta-sigma DAC, a 20-bit R-2R ladder DAC, and a true 1-bit DSD (Direct Stream Digital) output for DSD content. By engineering autonomous conversion paths, the M21 creates a highly efficient platform for enjoying music and exploring the distinct advantages of each output option. Additionally, it incorporates the latest Bricasti Design high-performance MDx processor to ensure maximum fidelity.

MASTERFULLY

CONNECTED

The M21 features precise analogue gain control, enabling effective implementation of direct DSD functionality and driving amplification. It includes a true hard-wire bypass analogue attenuator, allowing users to connect it directly to an external preamp when the control is set to 0 dB. Flexibility is at the core of the M21's design. Its digital input selection is well-equipped to accommodate any audio system. Additionally, the M21 boasts a fully differential design, which minimizes resistance in the output signal path. This design is particularly beneficial when pairing with fully differential amplifiers, such as those in the Bricasti range.

PLATINUM

FINISH

In addition to standard Black and Argento finishes, a Platinum finish is listed as an option for the M21 stereo D/A. This plating is based on anodising the base aluminium metal first with copper, then nickel, and finally a 40-micron coating of pure Platinum in-house.

This stunning mirror finish offers outstanding looks and increases the mass of the chassis with precious metals, allowing an additional step in performance with better tonality and resolution thanks to its strong RF rejection.
