M1 CLASSIC STEREO D/A

THE FIRST

CONVERTER

Discover the M1 Classic, Bricasti's first Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC), designed to deliver exceptional detail and precise spatial resolution in sound. Every component of this DAC has been meticulously analyzed and crafted to ensure complete musical reproduction, capturing every nuance of the recording with remarkable clarity and richness. It’s no surprise that many professional recording studios worldwide choose Bricasti products for their outstanding audio performance.

M1 DUAL MONO

MASTERPIECE

The M1 Classic digital-to-analogue converter is a dual mono design; there are two completely isolated channels, each with its own dedicated linear power supply, D/A converter, DDS clocking, and analogue circuitry. This design ensures that analogue crosstalk is virtually nonexistent and that the necessary power requirements for each channel are well met and isolated from each other. The digital processing is isolated, having its dedicated power supply.

DIGITAL

PURITY

With our twin DAC design, the dynamic range for each channel is optimised by using the stereo ADI 1955 D/A converter in a mono configuration. The M1 also includes Bricasti's proprietary filter technology, further opening new territory with what is achievable in a modern D/A reference.

PURITY

OF SIGNAL

The M1 Classic utilises Bricasti Design's latest proprietary MDx digital platform, clocking algorithms and filter technology for exceptional performance without the use of SRCs so signals stay native. The digital section is coupled with a pristine analogue path with the goal of delivering the truest possible representation of tonality, precision and dimension.

MDx OS

THE NEXT GENERATION

OF INNOVATION

The Bricasti MDx digital processor is a new proprietary digital platform, years in development that transforms and refines our full line of D/A converters. Exceptionally accurate with regards to timing and incoming master clocking, network improvements to yield better sonic performance over the network and the latest inclusion of DSD256 over USB. MDx takes audio to a whole new level with sublime precision.

EFFORTLESS

NETWORK STREAMING

The M1 Classic plays ethernet wired over your data network. In addition, audio listeners have become accustomed to having a computer server and additional storage drives directly in the listening environment. This can get messy with the added cables and power supplies that accompany them. With the built-in Network Player you can find new freedom from your server devices and place them anywhere on your network, away from your system.

I2S PERFECT

PARTNER

The M19 SACD/CD Digital Transport offers our proprietary I2S digital output for exclusive use with all Bricasti DACs.  This interface between the player and one of our DACs, in exchange for the Ethernet Network option, creates the perfect match between the two devices, as though the DAC was part of the M19.

This enhances the performance with stunning results: a convincing audible gain across the whole sound spectrum, with unmistakable added clarity and enhanced layering thanks to its pure and simplistic design. The I2S input is now listed as an option for all new Bricasti DACs and can be obtained by previous customers as an upgrade path.
